Firearm Purchase Requirements For In-store Pickup

If you have purchased a firearm on our website and want to pick it up in one of our stores, you will need the following:

  1. An acceptable form(s) of identification (see Store Sales FAQ #4 & #5).
  2. Be a California resident and have proof of it (see Store Sales FAQ #7).
  3. An FSC card or be exempt (see Store Sales FAQ #8).
  4. Provide a thumbprint at the time of sale.
  5. Safe Handling Demonstration: Before a firearm is picked up, customer must be able to perform a safe handling demonstration to prove that he / she can load, unload, lock, unlock, and safely handle the firearm. This test is performed here in the store, under the supervision of our personnel.
  6. Credit card with which the purchase was made must be physically presented before pickup.

NOTE: You must physically come to the store to start the background check and the 10 day waiting period. The 10 day waiting period does not start until the background check is submitted to CA DOJ.
