Discount Gun Mart is currently recruiting motivated full-time and part-time retail sales people.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Greet customers in a timely, professional manner.
2. Help customers with purchases of firearms and accessories from a wide variety of manufacturers and modern tactical & sporting equipment.
3. Use product knowledge and selection to provide exceptional service to customers and maximize sales.
4. Build relationships with customers.
5. Perform merchandising tasks including restocking shelves and arranging displays.
6. Ensuring the store is clean and maintained in a professional manner.

Qualifications

Successful candidates must have excellent communication and people skills and a strong desire to provide the finest possible customer service.

1. Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and co-workers.
2. Able to work well as a team player.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including legible handwriting.
4. Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
5. Presents a professional image in appearance, words and actions.
6. Be a self-starter and use good judgment in all situations.
7. Basic computer skills required.
8. Previous sales experience required.
9. Basic knowledge of firearms expected.
10. Must be legally able to purchase and possess firearms in CA and pass the required background check for a COE.

Salary

Competitive base pay (initial hourly rate varies depending upon experience & qualifications)
+ sales bonus and incentive programs.
