- Prerequisite: Valid or recently expired San Diego County CCW Permit
Recommended: Take this class within 90 days of your permit’s expiration date to prevent a lapsed permit.
Includes:
- Classroom instruction - participants are allowed to and encouraged to be interactive
- Legal updates and permit holder responsibilities
This class is for attendees that prefer the convenience and comfort of distance learning and still want the capability to ask questions of our knowledgeable staff during the class.
You must be able to attend Zoom meetings WITH BOTH SOUND AND CAMERA ENABLED. Your attendance and continual attention is monitored and is required to complete class and receive certificate. If you are not actively providing continual attention, you will be given one warning, if further violations occur, you will be ejected from the class with no refund. No distractions (phone calls, etc. ) are allowed. Appropriate breaks will be provided.

Renewal California CCW – shooting qualification only - group class (first 5 guns)
- Instructor: varies
- Price: $50
- Length: varies (usually about two hours)
- Prerequisite: Valid or recently expired San Diego County CCW Permit and have already successfully completed the DGM Zoom online renewal class or online self-paced class.
Recommended: Take this class within 90 days of your permit’s expiration date.
Includes:
- Range qualification for all firearms listed
- Range fees, eye/ear protection, and targets (ammunition not included)
Firearm Limits:
- Base fee covers up to 5 firearms
- DGM Range Members: Up to 10 firearms included
- $25 for firearms #6–10
- $25 per additional groups of up to 5 firearms each thereafter
